This soft cover book is an extraordinary photographic survey of the splendor of New York City in the mid-1930s. Its 72 pages contain a stunning a black and white photographic record of almost every important building and public landmark in New York City and Brooklyn.
This book is remarkable based on its 3-D aspect of New York City. Other guidebooks such as Baedeker, Murray, or Black give only directions, descriptions and maps. This one consists of 90% photographs and a bird's-eye view of the city. It is very interesting for those associated with New York history.
The book is 15 in. long X 10.5 wide and in good condition. But it does show its frequent usage. But it has no missing pages, no pen or pencil marks, no writing inside and no ripped or torn pages. The top right of the front cover is missing about 1.5 sq. inch, but this in no way detracts from its integrity or beauty.
